RODOCHROSITE SLIDE NECKLACE SET

It is hard sometimes to find a quality cabachon of Rhodochrosite with deep color like this one from
Argentina.  Since Rhodo gives the allusion of lace, I used this as my inspiration for how the cab is
embellished.  Using size 15/0 seed beads in shades of pink and white, I formed a lace edging which
makes this stone stand out.
A sterling silver with marcasite
heart toggle clasp add sparkle
and charm.
Using sterling silver spacers
between the Rhodochrosite beads
pulls it together
The earrings were made with
sterling silver with marcasite
studs also in heart shape to top
off the look.
Weaving a bail made
into a slide makes this a
dual necklace.  The
pendant can be taken off
and worn with a choker
or something else and
the beaded necklace can
be worn by itself for
another look.  What a
bargain!
